On the 28th of March 2025, our director and skate coach, J, took Will to Campus Pool, an incredible indoor skatepark in Bristol. The purpose of the trip? To support Will in completing his Skateboard GB Get Rolling training and take the next step in his skateboarding journey.
After an intensive day of training, Will successfully passed his course and is now a fully qualified and accredited skateboard coach! This is a huge achievement, not just for Will but for Skate Molton CIC as we continue to grow our team of skilled instructors dedicated to fostering the local skateboarding community.
The Skateboard GB Get Rolling program is designed to equip coaches with the skills and knowledge needed to teach skateboarding safely and effectively. It covers essential coaching techniques, risk assessments, and how to create inclusive and engaging sessions for skaters of all abilities.
With Will now officially certified, we’re excited to expand our coaching sessions and provide even more opportunities for skaters in North Devon to learn, progress, and enjoy the sport in a safe and supportive environment.
