Big News from Skate Molton CIC!
After an incredible year operating Skate Molton HQ, we’ve taken some time to reflect on what really makes Skate Molton special — and it’s clear that it’s our community events, lessons, and outreach projects that truly shine.
While having a dedicated venue was a fantastic opportunity, we’ve found that our pop-up skate events, community nights, and market sessions have had the biggest impact and are loved by the people we serve. So, after careful review, we’ve made the decision that Skate Molton HQ will officially close its doors on 31st August 2025.
But this isn’t the end — it’s the start of an exciting new chapter.
Come and Join Us for a Summer to Remember!
All our regular activities at the HQ will continue right up until the end of August.
That means there’s still time to enjoy:
Skate Lessons and Open Sessions
Games Nights
Toddler Roller Mornings
HAF Holiday Club Sessions
And everything else you love about Skate Molton HQ
We’d love to see as many of you as possible before we close the doors. Let’s make these last couple of months at the HQ ones to remember — full of skate sessions, games, laughs, and good times with our amazing community.
What’s Next for Skate Molton CIC?
From September 2025, we’ll be focusing all our energy and resources on what works and what the people want:
Bigger, better skate events at South Molton Pannier Market
Affordable skateboarding and roller skating lessons
More free-to-attend pop-up events around North Devon
Expanding our role as a training provider for schools and community groups
We’ll also have our Skate Molton apparel, skate merch, products, and tuck shop running at events — so you’ll still be able to grab your favourite gear and treats.
Skate Molton is Evolving!
We’re proud to announce that Skate Molton CIC will be refocusing as an events, outreach, and training organisation. This means we can:
Run bigger and better skate events
Reach more communities around North Devon
Continue to provide affordable lessons
Keep supporting young people, families, and adults through accessible, inclusive skate culture
This isn’t the end — it’s a new chapter, where we can make an even bigger impact doing what we love most.
Thank You
A huge thank you to everyone who supported the HQ and made it a special place this past year. We’re incredibly grateful — and we can’t wait to see you at the HQ over the next couple of months, and at our events this autumn and beyond.
